"Shh." They dipped onto their knees to make a less threatening figure of themselves. "Easy, easy. It's not for you to worry about." It was a trap. Of course, it was a trap - a child who cried wolf. They were probably closing in at this very second.

Not sure if I should have the kid in the novel. I don't think I have any need for this character... what do y'all think?

Should the kid be kicked out 👉🏼🚫?
